Okay guys,

I took the break off to clean and noticed this....



Should I have this thing recrowned?

I'm no expert on that, but i would.  Looks pretty boogered up to me.

The question is how well does it shoot now.  If you have an accuracy problem then yes, if not I wouldn't mess with it.

 Get a brass wire brush and some bore cleaner and give it a good scrubbing. Some of the gas and carbon gets trapped between the brake and the crown and winds up looking like BBQ grill scrapings.

Or a brass carbon scraper. I use one for my 74, it ussually looks alot worse than your muzzle and it works great to get all that crap off.
