During the process of depanning my Maadi, I screwed up my front sight base. I replaced it, and
tried to install it with no cant by aligning it off the front trunnion.....used a micrometer and a straight edge.....
Something must be out of true, as I've adjusted the front sight as far over as it can go and I'm still
8 inches off point of aim.

At this point, I've decided to sent it to a gunsmith. Any good recommendations? Plus, I might as well get it refinished....

Thanks for the help,
AoD

When I install FSB's I always use an overly complex method involving a laser boresighter, a vise, a level, and a laser line level on the opposite side of the room. Yes, it's slightly time consuming, but they come out perfect every time. I'm a perfectionist about some things.
