Hello gents,
Can anyone give me any insight on the Romy underfolders that I see posted at AIM and other sites ? ? I know they are WASRs, but what are they like compaired to the Yugos ? ? The folding stock looks a lot lighter than the Yugos. Don't have an underfolder in my AK collection so was considering getting one of these. What say you ? ? ? Thanks ! ! |

Yugo is higher quality. I'd buy that for a shooter or a keeper first.
I'd hunt for a built gennie Romy or kit rather that a WASR to fill the Romanian collection spot. Everything except the UF stock on the Yugo is much heavier than the AKM based WASR, so it's going to be heavier in any version. AFAIK Stamped UF stocks are lighter than milled. |
