I just bought a SLG-21 which is my 3rd Arsenal AK.  (SAM-7 carbine and SLR-105 are the others).  I noticed that there is some magazine wobble  with all of metal magazines.  With the Bulgarian polymer mags there is less or none at all with some of the mags.  Is this normal for the converted Saigas?  I do not have a magazine wobble issue at all with the milled SAM-7 or the stamped SLR-105.

I don't know what your "some magazine wobble" really is,but these rifles are not target type rifles. They are military combat type rifles. The Designers wanted the Mags to not bind being installed or removed, but still feed the Ammo. without and failures. Now does your Mags feed the Ammo. without failures? Have they just fallen out of your rifle? If they feed the Ammo. and have not just fallen out I say your OK.

I have noticed some of the cheaper Mags. example my Tapco 20rd and 30rd Mags, fit tighter and this has caused problems installing and removing them from one of my AKs. All the steel Mags both 20rd and 30rd do not have this problem.

I have one Arsenal circle 10 non metal type 30rd Mag. and it works great, no binding problems. Better quality control in it's Mfg.

I just got the rifle and have not shot it yet.  My question is if other SLG owners have also noticed this.  As I said there is no magazine wobble at all with my other two Arsenal rifles.

All my eastern european metal mags fit tight in my SGL-21. No wobble whatsoever...To be honest all my aks show no cronic wobble to begin with but my Bulgy SSR85C2 and now my SGL21 are the tightest with my Rommy Gs on DCI receivers being on the looser side.

Same issue with mine although I don't really consider it a problem. Circle 10's fit very nicely without much movement, steel mags have wobble but when the mags are loaded up, the wobble is less evident. These same mags fit my Yugo, WASR 10 and SAR1 with little to no movement. That's out of the 10 steel mags that I put in it. Some worst than others. Haven't shot the SGL yet but its fit and finish over my other AKs is better, I don't expect any problems. If the temperature ever gets up above 25 again, I'll be able to resume shooting instead of sitting in front of this computer!

I have a couple eastern euro steel mags that wobble a little. Most do not.
