I know this may sound dumb, but how do you remove the yellow filter from the scope?  I know it comes off from other pictures I have seen.  But no amount of trying that I have been able to do will force it off.  

Hoping there is a trick to it.  Don't want to mess anything up.

Some fit really tight. I'd use a dowel rod and tap around the edges until it loosens.
