I really don't think you can beat the Ultimak + Aimpoint combo on a 5.45 AK, it's easily become my favorite AK improvement bar none.

You have a nice plum there Underdog, I'm sure that's going to be a heck of a practical shooter. I dig the shamrocks too

You need to break out the black spray paint on that ORF 74.

I did mine and it looks a hundred times better than the light grey park job.

Simple strip degrease (carb or brake cleaner) all metal parts hang the rifle with a coat hanger and commence black spray paint job. Let it sit for about 4 or 5 days and reassemble.

Thanks guys,
The light mount is simply an old Surfire P6 body and some scrap aluminum I whittled away at, Using a G2 LED head and tailcap. I still need to upgrade the LED. The rig is an Old Diamondback AR rack I modded a bit to work with the 74 mags. I plan on Black Duracoating the rifle, Ive got a few more mods in the pipeline, then Ill refinish it,maybe. Everybody marks their mags, Im Irish,hence the Shamrocks with the mag numbers in the center

the safety lever just has a holdopen cutout and a fingertab riveted on. Im surprised noone commented on my 226 grips

Nah I cut out a templet in the shape of a shamrock and spraybombed it OD green, outlined the paint with a green sharpie, magazine number in green sharpie in the center.
