I sent an AK-74 kit to Jesse at 762LLC for a build and the Post Office mangulated the box.

The latch for the side folding triangular stock is now AWOL.

Short of buying a whole new folding stock assembly with hardware, does anyone know where to purchase the latch only, or the latch hardware????

This will be difficult  K-var was the last place selling these, but has been out of stock for a while.  I'll give it a search as well, but this is a bitch.

Call K-VAR. Some times they have a few out of stock items that they can lay there hands on. They have helped me out of a similar jam in the past.

keep looking - in a pinch, I can make one from scratch, but it will not be cheap - probably around $80.  I will think about this today as I'm sandblasting - there has to be another part similar that can be modified cheaper than making new one - maybe a ratchet in some form of gear.

Well, if all else fails,

http://www.parts4ak47.com/ak-47_accessories/product/AK-007RFS.html

You could then part it out, or keep for spares, which may not be a bad idea...It is spendy. Last ones I saw were around the $150.00 mark, but that's been a while.

ETA: If Doug doesn't have one, I would take Gunplumber up for his offer in making you one.
