Riddle me this Batman...
If you were to start with a Saiga and do nothing other than change it to accept standard AK magazines, how is this different from using US made high capacity magazines from a compliance standpoint? Thanks ahead of time for the answers...you guys are always very helpful. |

I'll take a stab at it.
It already from the factory is made to take a detachable mag...one mag is not different from another as long as the gun is still in its imported "sporting" configuration. Changing it to pistol grip and so forth, changes it to a non-sporting firearm in which case the parts counts must comply with 922r as all non-sporting weapons of this nature must be "US made" or have enough parts to be consider so.. |
