I have an uneasy feeling that the FSB on my Yugo is canted to the right.

What is the procedure to check this for sure?

What is the procedure to correct it?

Thanks!

to check, put barrel in the carpet, and look down the rear of the weapon to the front. You should be able to notice. To fix, punch out the pins, get a rubber mallet, and beat it to center. Replace pins. That's how I've done it.

Since the holes in the front sight are drilled to match the holes in the barrel, then you drift the pins out, move the sight, and drift the pins back in you have to make sure the sight didn't move back to the original position. The sight moving back is dependent on how tight it fits around the barrel. Good luck.

1. shoot gun
2. see if you have to push the front sight all the way to one side or another to get on the paper
3. if so, follow instructions given above by others.

Shoot it first before making any judgements about cant.

+1...  I would shoot it first and see how much, if any, the front sight is off center once the rifle is zeroed.

It shoots to the left right now, which agrees with the FSB canted to the right...  I didn't adjust the sight at all to see how far off it is though...  What caught my eye is that the center of the FSB is not in line with the 'nade sight...
