is there any templates or topics out there that show exactly how to convert your rear part of your receiver from a fixed stock to underfolder

without having to buy a new receiver or parts kit or any of that business lol

here is the print with all the measurements ya need.really not hard at all.if ya have dremel, grinding wheels for the dremel and drill you can do this.took me about an hour to measure, cut and finish everything to be ready for the rivets.this from a stock ak builder flat that I had a regular wood stock on.just welded up the two holes with a mig and made new ones.you would never know it was a fixed stock afterwards.it does depend on the trunnion ya have.it dictates the angle at the rear and if ya need to shim it (yugo) some don't shim.

You are gonna need an underfolder rear trunnion.  The fixed stock trunnion and underfolder rear trunnionare totally different...

Underfolders do look cool, but hey are wobbly and not very comfortable to shoot.

If you are going to go thru the trouble, get a commie left side folding stock. Those lock up solid and don't detract from shootability. Either way, you got to buy a new rear trunnion and punch holes in the receiver. BSW
