Does anyone know the over all length of a underfolder while folded? When I am done building it, it is going to be a Yugo UF stock/rear trunnion with a Romy G kit. I need to get to 30" while folded in my state to be legal

My Yugo is 25 3/4" with the stock folded.

35 1/2" with the stock open.

If your in Cali...
No shorter than 30in..Otherwise the communist state will consider it a SBR

Yes you said that....But like me.
You have USA instead of CA for location.

Here is an option for you....
How do you get it at  30in..
I affixed permantly a Bayonet.
Pin the button realease on the bayonet.  It is hard steel so have good bits and coolant.
Or spot weld the release

Mine measured 31 when closed.

It works...

I guarantee you will get looked at seriously with that evil looking BAYONET.
Legal....Well...YES.
It is A PERMENANT PART
I had 6 Johnny Laws look it over at a gunshow I attended and when they were satisfied
that is was permanant....Have a good day Sir.

Also when Nodak spud gets them going again.
They have long FH that will get the measurement you need.

I think all the MI guys would use longer permanently installed flash hiders.

Indeed it is! Good idea for other "SBR-ish" guns as well.

+1

But our OAL can be down to 26 inchs (I think).... not the 30 inch minimum in CA.

What makes you think it has to be permanent? I don't think that's in the CA PC.

It doesn't have to be permanent in Cali.
