Hypothetically speaking, how many AK's is too many.   I used to own (before my terrible boating accident that is)

Hypothetically, by the time I'm done I want about... at least 7, a tantal, a yugo underfolder, a krink, an amd-63, a tactical ak, my WASR I have now, and just a really really nice polytech or something to hang on the wall. So no, you didn't have too many.

The FFL I use started flipping out due to the number of ak receivers I was purchasing.  He kept asking me the same question, "these ARE for your personal collection, right?  You're not just buying these for resale?".  Yes, I would say, these are for my personal collection.  This went on for two years.  Apparently unsatisfied with my answer, he posed a hypothetical situation to this atf guy –– "I have this guy who has purchased something like 20 receivers in the past 6 months...anything wrong with that?"  ATF said no as long as he is not behaving like a manufacturer for sale.
