Is it worth the $$$? According to Brownells, it drops the trigger pull weight to 2 lbs.

I'm looking to drop this into a WASR.

I don't know that I'd spend 100 bucks on one, but I have a C&R so the price is comparable to (actually a bit cheaper than) the RSA adjustable.

In that case, I'd not hesitate to put it in a PSL.  AK, eh, I'm happy with the G2––and can get 3 of 'em for the price of one discounted Jard.

I suppose I could be convinced give it a try, if nothing else just to see how well it does.

I have used 3 of them so far. I have put in countless RSA triggers for customers.

The Jard is much lighter than an RSA/Power Custom Trigger. The RSA uses your factory hammer spring, thus probably works better on surplus ammo, but you cant get it much lower than 4 #. The Jard is a true 2# trigger.

Both triggers are fully adjustable to a very short takeup, and over travel. They can be adjusted for single stage or doublestage (I HATE 2 STAGE TRIGGERS), and have no creep IF setup properly.

The Tapco G2 trigger is a nice factory style trigger but does no compare to a RSA or Jard trigger, ever or on any day.

If your looking for the ability to lay down a lot of lead, or just want a great trigger you cant go wrong.

Like the poster above me stated its much cheaper if you have an 01 or 03 FFL and order it from brownells.

You can recontour the hammer face and polish some of the parts to mkae the action smother and the trigger have no break in as well, but thats something for another thread.

Nice review above

I do know of several RSA sets with many thousands of rounds with no issues. I don't have that kind of long-term abuse feedback on the Jard.

But if you want better than 4moa, I'd spend $100 on another 47 from Hungary/Bulgaria/...

And yes, my SAR1 plate/BFets blaster does have a RSA unit since 2001.

Jard Trigger is amazing! They are not drop in however.  They require some fitting.  Some machining experience is required so you don't screw it up.  The Jard trigger hits the rear trigger guard rivet so you have to U out part of the Jard trigger for it to work.....At least in a Bulgarian receiver.  The trigger is crisp and has a VERY VERY short reset when properly adjusted.  You may also have to do a little filing on your safety after adjusting the trigger to allow the safety to engage.

Hope this helps!

P.S. I am an aerospace machinist so I know a little bit about machining

Agency is correct.

The RSA trigger also needs to be fit the same way to certain receivers, but most are GTG. The safety always has to be fit. The engagament tab on the safety is too long once the trigger is adjusted.

Excellent info Agancy.
