[ARCHIVED THREAD] - WASR stock question

I have a WASR 10. I bought it used with an ACE folding stock. Can I swap that out for a different stock, or was the rear trunion changed for the ACE stock?

This is my only AK, so I can't look at another one for reference.

ACE offers 2 different receiver blocks for their stocks. One requires you to cut the tang off at the rear of the receiver and the other style does not. Is the tang still intact? If it is you're home free and can replace the ACE.

It's the piece you see extending off the receiver in this pic. The rear-most butt stock screw passes thru it.
