has anyone ever modified a thumb hole stock, cut the peice out and finished it to have a hand grip and regular stock. maybe some pics. Or would this be a no no,,,,, just buy a new one?

I did it a few years ago. Didn't turn out too bad but in the end I did go ahead and buy a new one.

My advice is to sell the one you have on the EE to help fund a new one.
