I was at a show this weekend in Harrisburg, PA. I was looking for German mausers and was striking out. I had my Norinco 84S-1 with me so that I could find magazines for it.

As I was leaving the show a guy walks up to me and asked if I was having any luck selling my rifle. When I told him I wasnt selling it so he showed me the one he had over his shoulder and said he was trying to get rid of it. I looked it over and couldn't believe that he had been able to walk through the packed show without selling an underfolder Legend so I figured he was asking way too much. He said that he was trying to get 11 for it. I bought it right then. Came with 6 mags, sling, bayonet, manual, and a case. In a show full of 600 WASRs and 1200 Yugos nobody bothered to buy a 1100 Poly Tech.

Deals are still out there!

$1100 is a good price? Sounds a little high to me.

$1100 for a PRE 1989 POLYTECH "LEGEND" - milled reciever ... is TOO HIGH ?!?!?
Also toss in 6 mags sling bayonet and original manual .... and $1100 is too high?!?!

.............. That was a bargain

Good deal and a great rifle!
Mine is a bump firing machine! I discovered this long before bumping was cool and yes it was unintentional. Very smooth trigger on mine anyway! I mounted the type 56 folding bayonet sight block combo on it...looks just like the one Charlie Sheen's character uses on Sgt. Barnes in the movie Platoon.
