At what distance do you guys zero your AK-47/74's at? Will a 50 yard zero work, or will it be different than an AR zeroed at this distance? How much difference will the 47 have on the 74 when zeroing, if any? Wondering what distance the Russians use. Thanks.

AK74 Numbers Keep in mind that the 74 shoots very flat compared to the 47. Edit: Alot of people, including myself, zero the 74 @ 50yrd/m. |
| 5.45 trajectory is very similar to to 5.56. If the sight hight is the same (i think it is) then i'd use the 50 yd zero. For the 74, i did the same thing havnt shot past 100yds. you can find ballistic graphs/charts if you use your google-fu. 7.62 traj is about the same as a 30-30 if ya have experience with that. |
