Just bought a Poly Tech AKS762 as new in box this is the one with the choate stock and is marked poly tech on the receiver.....for $550 OTD...Is that a reasonable buy....Ive owned Hungarians MAK-90s Bulgarians Yugosolvians this is my first Poly tech....is that a good price?\

you have one of the post ban Polytech sporters brought in during the Klinton era (or caught in customs during Bush 1's ban on imports can't remember)
Kyimports had tons of these for $450 IIRC about 8-9 years ago. So considering the crazy panic buying going on in the last 48 hours $550 is a pretty damn good deal for an original factory built Chi-com AK. Personally I'd just leave the Choate furniture on there and shoot the hell out of it. You have that exc+ quality original chi-com trigger group in there, why trade it out for a crappy US set?
