I've been playing w/ the idea of getting a 5.45 AK and I just stumbled across this deal on the EE. It would be a local deal. Romanian Intrac AK-74 for $650. Is this a good deal? link |

I'd buy it if I could do a FTF...might be able to find it a little cheaper elsewhere, but it's ready and available for you. That's worth something in itself... Be aware that with that pistol grip it might not be 922r compliant...easily remedied if that is the case though. |

The 45 round mag is worth what, 60-70? The 22mm brake and FSB are tough to find, but that's another foreign part to worry about. The pins in the FSB look a little iffy. The top handguard being bakelite also makes the handguards count as foreign. Depending on the OBO part, it's probably a decent deal, but it would need some work to be 922r compliant. |
