What the heck did I just buy today at the gun show? I was standing there and a guy who I had bought from before said he would make me a good deal on one of these. Seemed OK to me so I bought it without even thinking. It's SLR-106FR (Ban Style) - Stamped receiver, 5.56 NATO caliber, fixed ploymer stock, no bayonet lug, no accessory lug, stainless steel heat shield, 2 stage trigger, and scope rail. Arsenal: http://www.arsenalinc.com/slr106frb.htm I hate the stock on it. It looks like and is shaped like the folding version but it does not fold. So now I need to get a folding stock or maybe a fixed NATO length stock and I will need mags for it. Anyone know who sells 5.56 mags for these things and where I can get new stock? A folder would be nice but not mandatory. |

Thank you sir, I will give them a call. My only problem now is the stock. I found K-VAR. I called them and described what I had and my desire to put a real folder or maybe a NATO length fixed stock on it and they said I can't do it because of the way Arsenal installed the non-folding, folding stock. They said it would require a lot of modification on the receiver. They suggested I call Arsenal So I call Arsenal and described what I had and they said to call K-VAR.  So........I guess I might just leave it alone. |
