I believe it does....but it is the underfolder version....I'll try to look around for a better price. I believe my local gun dealer contracts with one of Arsenal's main suppliers. |
NOT much. The weight difference between stamped and milled receivers is VASTLY over reported. |

They are no longer in production so there's a limited # out there. $1300 is a decent price today. I ususally see them, when available, @ $1400 & higher. The weight difference between a stamped and milled receiver is less than 6 ounces IIRC. Plus, the milled rifles are so much smoother in operation compared to the stamped versions. I was a doubter myself until I purchased my first milled Arsenal. Milled AK's are the only type I buy now. |
K-Var handguards and OD green AK Saw Grip. But Veriforce Tactical also makes a pretty nice OD green grip. I use the VFT grip in black on my 7.63 Krink. Hit my up if you need a pic. VFT |
Again.....K-var ![]() Unfortunately, it looks like they are out of the blond wood at the moment. www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?productid=16200&cat=0&page=2 www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?productid=16201&cat=0&page=2 It looks like they have the full OD furniture set, as well as the individual upper handguard, but the lower milled is out of stock. www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?productid=16216&cat=0&page=1 www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?productid=16401&cat=0&page=1 |
I think part of it was the fact that the AK47 had a heavier barrel and a milled receiver. These modern milled guns have a barrel that is much more like an AKM barrel than an AK47 barrel. Combine the weight savings between a lighter profiled barrel and stamped receiver you could be looking at around a pound of weight savings... Spooky Or I could be completely wrong... |

The difference is the SAS M-7 Classic has blond furniture, a 45 degree gas block and a milled folding stock with a noticeable drop to it. The SAS M-7 has black polymer furniture, a 90 degree gas block and a stamped folding stock with no drop. |
