Anyone know where to find one? I really don't like the slant muzzle break or anything else I've tried for that matter. I like to fire my WASR with nothing on the end. But I want to protect the threads and also give it a finished look.

Thanks.

Edit: Nevermind. I guess it's called a barrel nut.

aa-ok.com lists Russian muzzle nuts. If you put that on and it's detachable, you'll need 6 compliance parts.

Is that because it's Russian?

The WASR came from CAI, so I believe it already has 5 parts. I know for sure 3 parts (G2 trigger group) and probably the muzzle brake and pistol grip are the other 2?

Was the muzzle brake tack welded on? If so it's probably imported. If the device is permanently attached, it's considered to be part of the barrel and is not a countable part.
AFAIK the WASR has (at least) the fcg replaced (3 parts) the gas piston replaced (1 part) and the PG replaced (1 part).
If your muzzle brake was not tacked on, it is a US made part, because you need 6 with a "muzzle device".
In any event if you use a foreign made muzzle device you must either permanently attach it or replace another foreign part with a US made part.

It is not/was not welded on.

My solution is that I just ordered a stock set from Ironwood designs which should be 3 compliance parts. That with the G2 trigger assembly and gas piston should do me.

Thanks for your responses. Very helpful.

If you have a stamped receiver and the muzzle device is removable you need 6 US compliance parts, not 5.
