You can use the one from an AK-100 series rifle available at K-Var, they run about $100. Don't know if they'll fit on a Romanian barrel. These have 24mm threads for muzzle attachments on them. The Romanians also made a simpler one without any provision for muzzle threads. This is more likely what you need. They're probably cheaper, too, but harder to find. Some people make their own by hacking off the front sight base and welding it to the gas block. I wouldn't do it if you're not going to SBR the rifle. All you get is a shorter sight radius. |
