ok here's the scoop.

I bought this ak about 3 years ago from a un shop in jacksonville nc that has gone out of bussness.

what i need help on is> what kind of ak47 is this? i lost the owners manual and have spent several hours searching websites and just trying to figure out exactly what the type of ak47 this is.  i/e ak103/ ak47 romanian etc

so here are some pics and the writting on the receiver.

on the receiver it says saiga 762x39
on the back of the receiver is says EAA CORP, COCOA FL

ON THE LEFT SIDE OF RECEIVER IT SAYS > made in russia by izamash
on the right side it also says 762x39 canta

it accepts the normal ak47 mags and the stock is a left side folder.

remember i am trying to figure out if this is a ak103 or 104 or is it an ak47 american made?

i need all the opinnions i can get fellows

thanks

Sounds like a Saiga conversion to me.  Do you have any pictures?  If you've already posted them, I can't see 'em at work.

With an Ace Riflestocks side-folding stock.  Nice rifle.

It is a converted Russian Saiga 7.62. Nice rifle, but make sure you have Saiga in the name somewhere.

ie: Russian Saiga ak47.

No, you would tell them it's a converted Saiga. Already been said.

That stock looks like it may have originally been a FAL or Galil stock. Hard to tell. Interesting none the less.
