I know this has probably been covered here before, I am thinking about getting a phantom FH for my AK. I have used slant brakes,74 style brakes,and the AMD brake. has anyone put on of these on your AK...and how is the control factor? Are there any links or sites that have covered all the different muzzle devices and how they work? thanks for the help! |

I would say that the AK Phantom flash hider is one of the better flash hiders out there.....definately a slight step up from the birdcage AK flash hider. I just decided to swap it out for an RPK-74 flash hider (bored out to 7.62) as I was using it on an underfolder and wanted to keep the overall folded length as short as possible. If I ever have some extra money to burn, I want to swap it out again for the $65 Wolverine flash hider. It's basically a "politically incorrect" vesion of the RPK-74 flash hider with five sharp teeth. It's kinda like a flash hider and stubby bayonet all in one.
