I have a small cheek so when the AK fires, it feels like a punch in the cheek.  Is there some sort of padded cheek rest that i can get?

Moleskin?

Seems like it would be one way to soften the bite.

Put a sheet of moleskin on the stock where your cheek rests.  Also, make sure you have your cheek tight against the stock when discharging your AK.  In the trap world, "bite" occurs when you lift your head off the stock or don't have your cheek tight against the stock when pulling the trigger.

Jus' tryin' to hep.

When the bottom finally blows out on a neoprene beer coozy, cut it and wrap in ace bandage.

Is the gun a Yugo?

Get an AMD65 they are built so there isn't a CW. The funny thing thing is I kept wanting to bend the stock and finally decided to embrace it see why they designed it like that.

The results is it's my favorite AK know and my best gun for hitting moving targets.
