Does anyone know how to do that military type braid with the green string. I was wondering if there was some where I could get some of that string. Also if there was some where out there that explained how to do it.

How abrasive is paracord? I mean on human skin. Could something like this be used as a restraint to a persons wrists and ankles? Or would it just chaff the hell out of them? Is paracord even tough enough for the job?

Should be able to get para chord,(fy-fitty chord) about anyplace that sells mil surplus stuff.  It's not very expensive.  Never braided any, but my old Inf. chord looks like this

The bottom would be easy to do, top part looks to be a bitch, good luck, ALLONS11
Para chord will give you a "rope burn" if it slides thru your hands, but if you were restraining somebody, you would'nt care too much about their comfort level.   We were told that one strand will hold 550# on a dead lift, never tested it on anything that heavy.

That's only applicable in the Equipment Exchange, and only if you are the original Poster.  Did you give this bad info on purpose?
