I have a Vector Arms underfolder.  It’s a fine weapon, but I’ve got a question about the trigger pull.  My only other AK is a VEPR, and it has a 2-stage trigger, so it’s not really comparable.

The Vector AK has an extremely smooth trigger, but there’s no indication as to when the hammer will fall whatsoever.  It fires at the same point in travel each time, but there’s no indication by touch/feel as to when it will fire.  I read an article about AKs recently which said AK triggers were made that way to reduce flinching among the troops, but I’ve only read that recently.

Is this normal?

You have a VEPR your spoiled j/k.

Yes the trigger will be smooth with no indication of break.  One thing I've noticed is if you do it slowly enough (super super slow) you will hear a click right before it breaks.  If you let go of your finger right after you hear the click the trigger will be stuck there and just the slightest pressure will let the hammer go.
