First off all tests were done with a completely stripped bolt.

I have 3 AK barrells that the trunnions were pulled and then repressed on. On one the go guage lets it lock up good and no-go will not lock up. On the other two the no-go will not lock up but neither will the go guage. However the bolt will lock up with a bullet in chamber.

Thoughts?

This happens to me VERY often when I am working with kits with minimal wear, and use American Gauges.  IF you use a cartridge - please remove the FP.  If several new cartridges lock nicely, but the US GO Gauge is tight?  I would suggest that you actually have some very GOOD kits with minimal headspace.
