They changed the address for one of the forms a couple months ago. It will still get to where it's supposed to go, but if you send the form to the wrong address it will be delayed. Call the BATFE NFA division and aske them. They are usually very helpful with administrative questions. Just don't ask them for legal advice. |
![]() ok F1's,.. if you take a pile of parts and make it into a rifle or take a complete rifle and have a short barrel put on in place of a 16in. barrel it goes on a F1. you can hire a gunsmith to assemble your parts or perfom the work need to make the rifle a SBR. F4's,.. if the maker / gunsmith builds a SBR to sell or to keep in stock until sold it goes on a F4 for transfer when you buy it. the diffrence basically boils down to if the gun is built on the customers request,. or if it is built for any customer to one day buy. simple as i can explain it,...clear as mud? OH YEAH,.. send the paperwork to the NFA branch in West Virgina 304-616-4500 if you have any questions |
![]() It would be a real fucking pain in the ass if you couldn't have a gunsmith assemble it for those of us who can't/don't want to do it ourselves. |
