| Looking into a possible peep sight to convert to ak use.Recently picked up a romak3 psl that a peep sight would be a killer back up iron on . Another good candidate would be a saiga or vepr in 308.I know alot of you guys recall being in the service and knocking down the pop-ups @ 200 and 300 meters with nothing but your irons! |

Depending on your hold, many of us already have our eyes up to the tang area and don't want the hazard. Otherwise, Willams makes an aperture you could stick up like an old Sharps rifle. Some Norinco Hunters had an aperture over the back end of the dust cover, with ears screwed down over threaded holes in the receiver to keep any rocking motion out. Seen mojosights.com yet? |
| I found that Lyman makes a sight for the winchester 92-94 that looks promising.Marble arms has one that might do even better.I've considered the proximity to the eye that you mentioned and I have a romakIII that the length of pull is very short on so i might need to add a recoil pad.I think i might have to get the marble one and see what I can do. If it does'nt work out I can put it on my Rossi Puma 357/38. |
