Having trouble with my kobra sight. Double AA battery model. It won't hold a zero. it constantly shoots high now matter how much up or down adjusting I give it. This is at 50yds, it consistantly shoots about two inches high. It's not the gun or me. I cosistantly shoot one inch groups with iron sights all day. Also bounce pop cans on 50yd hill with irons all day. So is this typical or did I get a bum model. It has never been dropped or abused, I have only had it about 8 months. It shot great first 5-6 months but now it isnt holding zero. Anybody else have this problem? What should I do? Thanks guys monkey out.

I take it, it was dead on before?  Did you change reticle pattern?  Been told that the reticles do not all shoot to the same POA/POI.  What kind of rifle?  Build or factory?  Same ammo originally zeroed in for?  Same cheek/chin weld?  Same distance?

Set your rifle up in a vise, cradle, sand bags or something else solid with the iron sights aimed at a 50 yard target. Now, attempt to adjust the Kobra to the same point.

Then tell us what hapens.
