[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Light Mount

Per the subject, I am in seek of your recommendations for a light mount to attach to my Ultimak optics mount rail on my Arsenal SLR-107. The only recommendation that I have received thus far is for the Haley Strategic Thorntail SBR light mount. Albeit I have yet to purchase a weapon light. My intents are to purchase a SureFire M300 mini scout light.

Vltor, I'd sell you mine as I dont have a rife with an ultimak anymore. Very nice, quick to disconnect and won't obstruct view of sights or red dot on a ultimak.

Vltor offset/6P combo is proven and realiable. It is also heavy. Thorntail SBR/ mini scout is light and low profile.

I have an Ultimak rail on my AK. I use the Blackhawk Offset Flashlight Mount...Blackhawk Offset Mount
It mounts low and does not interfere with the iron sights at all. The light sits at just the right height for easy thumb activation.

If you are going to run a Scout. I would consider the LT 752 off set mount.

It should put the light in a perfect position.

I use a Vltor mount with my ultimak. It works well.
