[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Rear Sight Help/ Suggestions

Been over a year since i visited! Wow anyway onto the topic

I have this old Tantal kicking around that i started doing some work on some time ago (pic attached please excuse the optic and rear sight in the pic they are no longer on the rifle).

As you can see i have inbuilt picatinny rail on the upper receiver. Long story short i am looking for a rear sight that will work with the current AK style front sight system and will fit on a rail. I tried a forum search but i could only find new uppers with sights built into them.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

TWS does offer a rear peep sight for that rail.

Thanks for the info guys. I actually already had this sight and completely forgot about it! Are there any other alternatives? Perhaps something with an adjustable aperture size?

Only thing else I could see being low enough are the XS Sights Ghost Ring Back Up Sights http://xssights.com/index.php?nID=sights&cID=Sights&pID=sights&sID=rifle.

IME the guys at XS Sights CS are pretty good about answering questions.

one last question is there any kind of optic out there that won't completely block off the view from the rear IS?
