I want to see your rifles with the Primary Arms Microdot. I know allot of the rifles will look similar but I just want to see how yall are running them with everthing else. Also if you found any issues with certain setups or models please feel free to elaborate. I think i read that the gen 2 and 3 wont allow use of the irons atleast in their normal position but would REALLY like to be wrong on that. If you have any shots looking through it how your eye sees it please post them. What i mean by how your eys sees it is get the distance back from it right so it looks as if it was your eye looking through it and not a camera. Think pareferal vision. Thanks and cant wait to see what yall have. |

I'll try and get some pics up later, the camera is in the wife's car right now and a phone or webcam will be too fuzzy.
As for irons, I can just see them at the 300 meter setting, 100 and 200 are too low. I figure that I can engage targets with the 300 meter setting until I have time to get the sight off, if I'm ever in that sort of (very unlikely) situation. I'm running an SLR-107F with the non-vented Ultimak. |

Thats a PWS FSC-47 on the rifle above. I have one on mine as well. Nice looking rifle and how do you like the light mounted like that? Yep that's a FSC47. I really like the offset vltor mount. I think the light works a lot better on the ultimak than on a side rail attached to a hand guard like the CAA LHV. Puts the light right were I need it to be and doesn't get in the way as much. |

What is the difference between Generations? I noticed the above poster said Gen1, just got it today. Wouldn't later Gen's be better? Gen 2 has a removable base so you can use taller mounts for use on an AR. It has the adjustment dial on the side. It won't cowitness on an AK. You may be able to see the tip of the post if you are lucky. Gen 1 will cowitness on an AK because it sits lower. Has the adjustment dial on the top. And I think it gets a little better battery life. |

Ahhh, excellent. Thanks for the info. |

Here's my Draco with a cut-to-fit Untimak M1-B and a PA Micro Gen 1. Fantastic setup, and I've not had any problems with heat and the Micro... burned my fingers a few times though!

| Reading this thread really makes me want to get the Primary Arms micro dot (Gen 1) & Ultimak combo. I have a WASR and my gas tub doesn’t have vents. It looks like Primary Arms is sold out of the Ultimak without the vent holes. Should I just wait until they get it back in stock or should I get the Ultimak with vents? I read that shouldn’t have any ill effects on my AK. What do you guys thing? Thanks. |

How does that BP work out for you with the Gen2? I cant get mine to zero to save my life. I maxed out that height on the gen2 and even have the BP tilted down. seeing that this is my first time with a AK/Red dot set up it took around 20 shots to get on paper. i didn't bore sight it before going to the range so maybe that had something to do, it was shooting way to the left and a bit low, so after 30clicks to the right and 5 up i was pretty much dead on. try moving your red dot forward or rearward and see what happens. now when you say tilted down what do you mean by that? |
| It was shooting WAY low, so I had to tilt the mount down (put washers under the rear screw on the mount) and still its shooting WAY low. Its about 6-8" low at 50 yards with the Gen2 maxed out on height. I have mine mounted back further on the mount, by the rear screw. |

M-1Bs back in stock!!! Thanks for the heads up. One small issue thought, when I add the Ultimak M1-B it's not adding the discounted cost. I would love to receive the mount for free |

Quoted: Quoted: I just fixed it. Thanks!!! No problem. Order placed. I do have a question for those with red dot already, how do you sight in your red dot? Do you co-witness and put the dot right on top of the front post? Thanks. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet because I just got it last week, but I just co-witnessed mine. I have a Gen 1. |

For those who use this setup, how does this sight hold up on the Ultimak? I only ask because I burned up the first optic I had on my Ultimak. You won't have a heat problem, in semi auto. We have never tested full auto. We also did a frying pan test when this first came up almost a year ago to be sure. Marshall |

I've got the Primary Arms Micro Gen 1 on an Ultimak; 2k+ rounds with no issues. It even returns to zero when I remove the Ultimak for cleaning after shooting corrosive ammo. |

WOW!!! That's Nice. |

Who makes the rail that the T-1 is sitting on? |

What Ultimak is that? |
