I got a POSP scope made in Belarus (8X I think) and mounted it on a ROMAK with no problem
But to get it sighted in accurately, the reticle had to be adjusted to the top of the field of view through the scope. Is there any adjustment to the mount of the scope or something like that which can bring the reticle to the center of the field of view when zeroed ? Any help is appreciated

I to would like to know. That is what i am afraid of with my scope. So i bought a side mount bracket so i can mount a Nikon for just such an event. I dont want my crosshairs at the top of the scope either. I agree they should be in the middle of the scope.

This is the second scope I have got with this problem, I sent the last one back. I am afraid they are all like that.
It seems if you could just angle the whole thing up a little it would fix it?

Side rail may not be parallel to top of the receiver.

Side rails are riveted; there is no adjustment.
AK gunsmith should be able to re-rivet them.

With a scope integrated into the bracket, the only adj is with the scope knobs. And that's why commie glass comes with lots of clicks...

Now with a rail bracket and western scope, you need to take the top rail off the bracket, shim it to flat, and remount.

But there are screws attaching the main bracket to the other part of the bracket that slides onto the rail on the receiver. I though maybe it could be shimmed at this point?

All 3 of my POSP scopes have a total of 6 screws (2 on the backside coming down into the mounting bracket and 4 on the front going in from the side) plus 2 pins to locate the mounting bracket to the scope body.  Plus, the heads of the 4 side screws are recessed into the mount.  That, combined with the 2 pins, locks the 2 halves into a fixed position.  No way to shim the mounting bracket relative to the scope that I can see.  Is yours the same?

No guarantees but you can drive out the pins unscrew the clamp part and and shim under the front. Depending on how thick a shim you may need to elongate the screw holes in the clamp and then drill new pin holes. I haven't done any PSO's so you'll need to check yours out carefully if you have enough room for the mods. You can swap grade 8, 8-32 cap screws for the oem Russian screws ( or drill and retap to your choice) and leave out the locating pins. You won't need them with the hardened screws. Reuse the bolts if your mount has them. I can't vouch for the quality of the mystery metal the factory uses so be careful as you go.

Ok I will give it a try, it drives me  crazy the way it is now with the reticle cranked all the way to the top of the field of view

I have the same scope on a PSL and the reticle is in the upper portion of the glass, just as yours.  You'll  note that if you adjust the range to, say, 800m the reticle is much closer to center.  Nature of the beast I suppose.
