Does anyone have any experience with this product?

All the reviews I've read say it holds it's zero amazingly well even on 12ga shotguns... I'm thinking of getting one for my 7.62 AKM... So, are they as good as they seem for $139?

Mine works ok, has held up to thousands of rounds. I wish it had a regular on and off switch though. Its controlled by a light sensor so complete darkness turns it off (when not in use, you put a cover on the sight).

I'd much rather have an Aimpoint micro t-1 though and will move on to that once funds are available.

Thanks for the info. That's basically what I was thinking about wanting an always on switch, but I can't see forking over the extra for a good sight that has that feature.

You might be able to brighten it up w/ a battery replacement.  You may looking into replacing the 2032 battery w/ 2x 2016 batteries.  This works with the Jpoint, Trijicon reddot & Optima 2000, which I am pretty sure they based this sight on.  It is actually mentioned in the Jpoint & Trijicon manual as a solution is the sight isn't bright enough.  It basically give the sight twice the power and makes it much more bright.  In fact, on my Jpoint, it is on the bright side when viewed indoors.  Too bright is better than not enough, so I prefer this simple solution.

That's great info. I'll have to remember that. I might pick one up at the gun show next weekend as I seem to remember someone selling them for 100 dollars even at the last show. If not I'll order one.
