[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Side Rail Scope mount question?

I did search a while and found that I wanted the BP02 mount and thought it would work on my SAR1. But it did not fit all the way. But yet it worked on my Saiga12.

I have had the SAR1 refinished and am wondering if the finish is to thick... or the BP02 is the wrong mount for the side rail on the SAR1.

I have decided to use the current mount with my old Aimpoint on the S12. But do want to put a scope on my SAR1.

What mount should I look into?

You adjusted the bolt or whatever on the lever to loosen it?

The very first part of the rail will not even slide over. I did not know that could be adjusted on the BP-02. I will give it a try. Thanks

I just checked it. The BP02 could not be adjusted enough to fit over the first large part of the side mount on the SAR1.

What mount should I look at now?
