So Im looking at mounting a rather inexpensive but effective red dot on my Overland Industries Polish AK-47 and was thinking of this.
mount Yes, I know about the LaRue Irondot and dont get me wrong...I think its a fine product but I dont have that type of cash to throw on a rather inexpensive rifle. Has anyone ever used one of these before? The thing I like about these is that it seems strong and you can use the rear of it as a rear sight just in case your optics screw up. Any thoughts ideas? I would prefer to mount a aimpoint or cheaper burris type red dot on it. |

I haven't used that one, but i have a lever lock AK scope mount with side rail on a Romy AK with a scope and it works just fine. I'm sure you could mount a red dot just as easy on it.
