Hi everyone,
Just got my BP-02 side rail to weaver mount for my AKM. Given the ballisitics of the cartridge we all know and love to shoot (7.62x39mm), I'm thinking of mounting a typical optical glass scope on it. I don't think it would have to have more than 4 power on it, but correct me if I'm wrong. Fixed power or variable? I'd prefer a scope that, like our AK's, can take a lickin' and still keep tickin', so it would have to be fairly rugged. Optics are so expensive, so scopes that cost more than the rifle are out. Maybe something in the $200 range? What do all you forum members use?

Hard to beat the 4x24 PSOP with integral side bracket for $130. No need for more mag power with the 47 rnd, but a low power variable or red dot depends on your shooting plans.
