I picked up my 12 pack of Sportsmans Guide magazines on Friday from UPS and finally opened them up this morning. Ten of the 12 looks like normal run-of-the-mill 30 rounders with all the normal ribs and followers, but two of them are different from the rest and my other nine. One has what I assume to be a Yugo BHO follower as it is squared off at the back. It has two horizontal reinforcing ribs at the bottom of the sides that do not extend into the narrower portion of the mag at the front. The other odd mag has only two, fairly wide reinforcing ribs running he vertical length on the side of the mag and a single, again fairly wide reinforcing rib running horizontally across the side bottom, again not extending into the narrower front portion. The follower is completely normal so far as I can see. Anyone have any idea what these are? I've checked the mag identification threads and haven't seen anything quite like these. If I was smart enough to figure out to post pictures, I put a couple up. Edited: looked through the thread on AK Discussion about Mag Deals and found that they are Yugo BHO (like I thought) and a Bosnian "non" fleur-de-lis. |
