How long do you think you can store loaded 7.62 AK mags ( in new -like new condition) and still have reliable funtion...1yr/5yr/10yr?

Almost indefinately. Been a few reports from Afghanistan of finding 20+ year old loaded mags in dirt huts and caves working with no problems. For the average American having one loaded in a closet will last well beyond that. What wears a mag is many compression and release cycles of the spring and not from keeping it loaded for extended periods.

+1.  Like hootbro said, it is the compression cycles of the springs that wears out a magazine.  Fill 'em up, let them sit stored.  A mag isn't useful unless it has a few buddies inside it waiting to come out and play.
