Here's an interesting line that is on Arsenal's website, can't help but think that these are what they are talking about - " The warranty of your rifle is voided with the use of 7.62x39 US made magazines." Here's the link http://www.arsenalinc.com/calibers762.htm This probably is all we need to know about these mags, It's amusing how they look so much like the Bulgarian magazines, a blatent copy. Thanks for posting your experience, seems you are not the only one who has had problems with them. |

I believe the Bulgarian mags are also a tight fit in the mag well. Some people file a slight bit on the mag well so that ANY mag can be used. I had one of the PROMAGs. It fit fine in my Maadi, most likely because I had dremeled out the mag well already (the Maadi only took single stack mags, I expanded it to take the normal AK mags). However, I couldn't get the PROMAG to feed properly or consistantly, so I returned it. |
