Any one else have a problem with these things? I just bought 2 at the gun show to try em out since some people love em to death only to get home and not have them fit. I am SURE they are 7.62 but the mag well is just too small (not by much though) for it on mine at least. If I ever get my Romy build done I guess we will try em again. more wasted money till then.

Here's an interesting line that is on Arsenal's website, can't help but think that these are what they are talking about - " The warranty of your rifle is voided with the use of 7.62x39 US made magazines."

Here's the link    http://www.arsenalinc.com/calibers762.htm

This probably is all we need to know about these mags, It's amusing how they look so much like the Bulgarian magazines, a blatent copy. Thanks for posting your experience, seems you are not the only one who has had problems with them.

Well I remembered my dad bought a few 40 rnd pro mags for his Colt AR about 2 years ago and guess what? they are collecting dust in the safe.....literally. They jammed almost every round and he cleans it enough that the rifle shouldn't be the problem. I was just sitting around today and it hit me like a ton of bricks that those mags were in Pro Mag sealed bags. So the word on my side of the fence is don't buy em ever for any gun....any one want two brand new mags?

I believe the Bulgarian mags are also a tight fit in the mag well. Some people file a slight bit on the mag well so that ANY mag can be used.

I had one of the PROMAGs. It fit fine in my Maadi, most likely because I had dremeled out the mag well already (the Maadi only took single stack mags, I expanded it to take the normal AK mags).

However, I couldn't get the PROMAG to feed properly or consistantly, so I returned it.

Its a double stack. I owned one before that was picky about mags, but this one has been perfect except for these. Takes all makes of steel mags.
