Hmmm... I haven't gotten any of those emails from them.  I'm assuming I'm still on back order with them but who knows?

I told them last time they asked to keep me on the list I did not care about delays and I havent heard anything else that is why I was checking to see if anyone else had heard anything.

Yup.  You can still backorder them.  Call SG and ask about the backordered 10 mag deal.  That's what I did.

I just got off the phone with Sportsmans Guide about my backordered mags.  They said the mags are due to ship the 28th.  Hopefully the mags show up and are as nice as the 1st batch that I got from them.

To those of you who are backordered:

When you check your order status, does it show your mags as backordered?

Under my order details it showed the ammo I ordered at the same time as having been shipped, which it was, but then doesn't list the backordered mags.  I haven't received any e-mails since I last told them to keep me backordered and I'm beginning to worry that they might have dropped me.

I hadn't received an e-mail lately from them about the backordered mags.  I called them yesterday and they confirmed my mags where still backordered.  They said the expected ship date is 2/28.  You may want to call them to confirm they still have you in the computer.

If any of you haven't sat in backorder status with SG before, my experience has been that the estimated shipping dates are not especially reliable. I believe that they provide a date to us only so we won't cancel the order.

Been in this situation many times, and they have never come through when they said they would. In about half the cases I can recall, the items never came in at all.  The others eventually arrived, but sometimes long after I'd forgotten about them.

I've got a backorder in for mags, too, with a 28 Feb. date.  Worth a shot, I think, but I'm not betting the ranch on it happening.
