Hi,
I'm new.
There's a gun show coming up, and I might pick up a drum.
I seem to remember seeing a page on this site that listed what the numbers meant.
Can't seem to find it.
Any help/opinions appreciated.

Thanks,

AIG

First off welcome...
I don't know about the page you are referring to but my Chinese drum's have a triangle with 36 inside of it..I hope that helps a little.

Some Chinese drums have the number of the factory that made them stamped on them.
Check the "how to id AK mag/drums" page of my web pages.

Thanks for the welcome, and the replies.
I could've sworn there was a page on this site that identified all the manufacture codes.
Guess I'll have to keep searching.
While we're on the subject, what are your opinions on the 100 round drums?
What's the going rate for them these days, anyway?

Thanks again,

AIG

I think 100 rd Chinese drums are going for $150 and up.  75 Chinese, 90+ but I haven't seen one at 90 in a long time.  75 rd Romanian, 85-100.  Russian, don't know.  Chinese are easy to identify because they have three latches holding the thing shut and a half butterfly tab to wind with.
