Hello to all AK diehards! I was wondering how to restore a magazine. What would you use to take scratches and marks off? Is there a product that can be used to this?
Thanks,Chris

Steel wool and black paint? That's what I use to refinish any AK mag that needs it.

Steel wool like #0000 will make them better then I used some 3m pads to get them to shine.

It is the scouring pads like the green one you use when washing dishes they have alot of grades. The one I use is dark red.

Ok,I went out and got some "0000" steel wool today. It cleaned the mags up great! One of them was badly scratched up,but after a polished it for awhile, the scratches began to disappear! I haven't used a 3m pad on it yet-but I'm planning to. Thanks for your help fellow AK enthusiasts!
