I posted this under the Russian section too, but does anybody know where to get hi cap .223 Saiga mags? I would like to do the AK conversion and add a feed ramp to make it take AK mags one of these days, but for now I just want a couple that will work with no mods. I know I have seen them but I can't remember where. Thanks.

they are around but its not worth it
you could pay to have the feedramp installed for less than the price of 2 mags
im not shure the going price for 223's but 7.62 go for 30-40 each

Thanks for the replies, sorry about the double post. What does the ATF have to say about modifying magazines and adding a feedramp? I don't want to do anything illegal or even questionable. Does anybody know the wording of the law as it pertains to magazine modification? Thanks.

Mags are no problem to mod. The gun falls under 922r from 1989 once a hicap is installed, and see Russian forum for Saiga conversion help.
