I have 16 Izhevsk and 17 Tula 30rd Bakelite mags in my collection.  I have one type 1 Tula and one type 2 Izhevsk.  The majority are type 3s in both and a few Type 4 Izhevsk.  Some have the reinforced feed lips, however 14 appear to not be reinforced and only 4 have the same factory numbers.  I would like to use 3 or 4 and save the rest as collectables.  Which ones should I select to use in a rifle (the least collectable)?  Are the non-reinforced feed lip mags less durable?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a resource on which bakelite mags are the rarest?

You can check other sites like akfiles.com or  theakforum.net.  That said it's really relative to current events.  4-5 years ago most bakelites we're around $70.  Also Tula's were rarer but I've read reports of a lot of Tula bakelites with this batch.  In the end it's what somebody wants and is willing to pay for it.
