I ordered 20 of them. Figured why not as long as they work...
Well 7 out of ten of them are not functional. Three of them the feed lips are bent together, 2 of them when they are fully loaded there is no spring pressure so the rounds are loose and I do not see any dents that would make the follower stuck. The other two I found disassembled in the box when I got it from the UPS guy. I found both floor plates and tried to reassemble. The body was smashed at the bottom of them, not letting the spring to be put into the body. I don't think they was damaged in shipping. If they was then the mag would be assembled. Since the bottom was smashed it would not allow the spring to come out. Right? I would't be complaining as much if these were not described as functional mags. I do not care about minor ruse or dents as long as they work, which is what I was expecting. However 7 out of 20 bad? I should have just bought NIW ones... I did contact them, I have not heard back yet. Anyway, onto what I came here for. Anyone else that ordered these...did I read the description wrong? Also how was your mags? |

| They should be functional, I wouldn't get too upset till I actually talked to them. They are pretty nice to deal with, I bet they will work something out. My order had lots of dented ones and 2 that had bent feed lips that wouldn't strip rounds. I was able to bend the lips back out and have worked fine. The 2 they sent as parts is really strange. |

I have heard nothing but good things about them so I am sure they will make it right. If not I'm sure I can fix them easy enough, at least most of them.
My post made it sound like I was mad because I just tied to load them and found ones with the bent feed lips.I know it would be too hard to thoroughly inspect all of that surplus. That and I originally thought I only had 2 that was bad, turned out to be more after I tried to load them up.That and I am pretty certain that they had to ship out those 2 mags knowing they wouldn't work without trying to bend them. I might send another email tomorrow explaining that or try calling them. |

I ordered 10 mags three different times for a total of 30 mags and only 4 were even used.One had a dent in the mag body which i fixed with a long screwdriver.
The other 3 only had slight rust on them which came off with 0000 steel wool and some light oil. The other 26 look brand new mint condition.Its hit or miss on what you get. I wouldnt be happy if i got what you got thats for sure they should at least be functional. |
