| IM sure this has been gone over 100 times here but Im going to ask anyway since Im a AK newb . I have a Romanian that came with 2 yugo mags, and one tapco mag , It looks like the tapco has had the sh!t wrung outta it as its been well used . Anyone got a good recommendation for good functioning AK mags that arent $30 each ? , I dont care if they are steel or Poly . I was looking at the Palm AK30 mags but the y are proud of them and I dont want to buy a hand full of them and they not work right . Im not fond of anything but GI mags , lancer mags and magpul mags for my AR . I see Magpul is going to make AK mags but nobody can give a firm date they are going to hit the market . Any help would be appreciated to this AK newb. |

http://www.robertrtg.com/ak47_eg30rd.html East German steel mags for $16. Get them while you can. US Palms are good functioning mags but not worth the asking price, and not all they are cracked up to be. |

Those are very similar to what came with the gun and they have been well used so I would think they will run well . |
